| L-R. Marjorie Oakes, Hazel Oakes Stewart, Sherman Stewart, and Frederic Oakes |
Notes:
1. Uncle Freddie told me in 1965 that his name was actually spelled "Frederic".
2. Does anybody know the make and model of the car parked on the road? I'm not sure who's car it is. Possibilities are Sherman Stewart, Edward Oakes, or Uncle Freddie.
Great first post, Peg! I loved that you didn't crop the photo. I like seeing the background and old car. Looking forward to seeing more.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Peg on your new blog~!
ReplyDeleteThe photo you chose here is fabulous :)

I started my blog about a year and a half ago with a photo of my parents, too. I guess that's the starting place for all of family history, isn't it? I'm sorry I can't help with identifying the car.... Welcome to geneabloggers.
ReplyDeleteWe once lived on a Jockey St when I was little (in So California). It was funny - because we pronounced it Yockey St.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Geneabloggers family.

Theresa (Tangled Trees)
